Αποτίμηση Περιβαλλοντικής Δράσης "ΟΙ ΑΚΤΕΣ ΠΟΥ ΧΡΕΙΑΖΟΜΑΣΤΕ"/ Environmental Action Assessment "THE COASTS YOU NEED"

Κατά τη διάρκεια του εθελοντικού μας προγράμματος "ΟΙ ΑΚΤΕΣ ΠΟΥ ΧΡΕΙΑΖΟΜΑΣΤΕ" από 5 Ιουνίου 2019 έως 30 Σεπτεμβρίου 2019 διαθέσαμε δωρεάν χάρτινα τασάκια παραλίας και ενημερώσαμε τους λουόμενους των παραλιών της Αιγιαλείας για τον περιορισμό των απορριμμάτων καπνιστών στις παραλίες.

Οι ακτές που επιλέχθηκαν για το πρόγραμμα ήταν οι:Διγελιώτικα-Αλυκή-Άκολη-Ελαιώνα-Νικολέικα-Τέμενη-Πούντα και Ακράτα.

Εγκαταστήσαμε στην παραλία των Διγελιωτίκων Κέντρο Περιβαλλοντικής Πληροφόρησης το οποίο λειτουργούσε σε καθημερινή βάση, σε συνεργασία με την Δημοτική Κοινότητα Διγελιωτίκων από όπου οι λουόμενοι προμηθεύονταν τα χάρτινα τασάκια (Συνολική ποσότητα 900 τμχ), τοποθετώντας επίσης κάδους  ανακύκλωσης για πλαστικά και αλουμίνια.  Συγχρόνως, οργανώσαμε  εβδομαδιαίες επισκέψεις στις υπόλοιπες παραλίες και μοιράσαμε συνολικά 1700 τμχ.

Γενικό σύνολο 2600 τμχ.

Από τους κάδους ανακύκλωσης συγκεντρώσαμε 360 κιλά σε πλαστικά και 700 τεμ κουτιά αλουμινίου τα  οποία παραδώσαμε σε εταιρία ανακύκλωσης. 

Πιστεύουμε ότι η εκστρατεία μας είχε επιτυχία,αφού ενημερώθηκαν συνολικά περισσότερα από 7000 άτομα, καπνιστές, άνδρες και γυναίκες, κάθε ηλικίας, συμβάλλοντας για ένα καλλίτερο περιβάλλον.

Ευχαριστούμε πολύ το Πανεπιστήμιο Πατρών, τις οργανώσεις lifeammos και terranova για τη δωρεάν προμήθεια χάρτινων τασακίων.

During our volunteer program "The Coasts We Need" from June 5, 2019 to September 30, 2019 we provided free beach ashtrays and informed beachgoers of Aigialia beaches to limit smoking waste on beaches.

The coasts selected for the program were: Digeliotika-Alyki-Akoli-Eleonas-Nikoleika-Temeni-Punta and Akrata.

We installed on a daily basis the Digeliotica's Environmental Information Center, in collaboration with the Digeliotica Municipal Community, where bathers were supplied with paper ashtrays (Total 900 pieces). Also installing recycling bins and recyclables. At the same time, we organized weekly visits to the rest of the beaches and distributed a total of 1700 pieces.

Overall 2600 pieces total.

From the recycling bins we collected 360 kg in plastic and 700 pieces of aluminum foil which we delivered to a recycling company.

We believe our campaign has been successful, with more than 7,000 people, smokers, men and women, of all ages being informed, contributing to a better environment.

We thank the University of Patras, lifeammos and terranova organizations for their free supply of paper ashtrays.

καθάρισαν την παραλία του Υδροβιότοπου της Αλυκής 

cleaned the beach of Alyki's Hydrobiotope

και ενημέρωσαν τους λουόμενους για τις βλάβες που προκαλούν τα αποτσιγάρα στις ακτές μας και πρόσφεραν για μια ακόμα φορά τασάκια...

and informed the swimmers of the damage caused to the shores on our coasts and offered once again ashtrays ...

Εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα "Σκουπίδια ώρα μηδέν-Ανακύκλωση ΤΩΡΑ" / Educational-Informative Program "Rubbish Zero Time - Recycle NOW"

Την Πέμπτη 18 Απριλίου 2019, η mellifera μετά από πρόσκληση του Δήμου και του Κέντρου Κοινότητας Καλαβρύτων, παρουσίασε το εκπαιδευτικό-ενημερωτικό πρόγραμμά της "Σκουπίδια ώρα μηδέν-Ανακύκλωση ΤΩΡΑ" στο Δημοτικό Σχολείο Καλαβρύτων.

On Thursday, April 18, 2019, at the invitation of the Municipality and the Community Center of Kalavryta, mellifera presented its educational program "Zero Rabbish Time Recycling NOW" at the Kalavryta Elementary School.

Στην όμορφη αίθουσα εκδηλώσεων του σχολείου, η Διευθύντρια κα Λόπη Τσουρούτη, προλόγισε την εκδήλωση καθώς και ο Αντιδήμαρχος για τα θέματα Παιδείας κος Νικόλαος Μαγκαφάς, αναφέρθηκε στην Εβδομάδα Κοινωνικής Αλληλεγγύης στην οποία εντάχθηκε το περιβαλλοντικό πρόγραμμα της mellifera.
Οι μαθητές ενημερώθηκαν για την ανακύκλωση και την επανάχρηση από την εκπαιδευτικό κα Χωριανοπούλου Μαρία και για το Διαχωρισμό από τον κο Νίκο Αγκορτσά.

In the beautiful classroom of the school, Director Mrs. Lopi Tsourouti, foretold the event, as well as the Deputy Mayor for Education, Mr. Nikolaos Magafas, referring to the Social Solidarity Week, which included the mellifera environmental program.


The students were informed about the recycling and reuse by the teacher Mrs Chorianopoulou Maria and the Separation by Mr Nikos Angorcas.

Οι μαθητές συμμετείχαν ενεργά σε όλη τη διάρκεια του προγράμματος με βιωματικές δράσεις και ψυχαγωγήθηκαν ανακυκλώνοντας αντικείμενα που έφεραν μαζί τους ενώ έπαιξαν κρουστά με κουτάκια αλουμινίου και πλαστικά μπουκάλια.

Students were actively involved throughout the program with experiential activities and were entertained by recycling items they brought with them while playing percussion with aluminum cans and plastic bottles.

 We would like to thank the Municipality of Kalavryta and the Community Center of Kalavryta for inviting mellifera to Social Solidarity Week and the Kalavryta Elementary School for their wonderful hospitality.

Σκουπίδια ώρα μηδέν-Ανακύκλωση τώρα

Η MELLIFERΑ την Κυριακή 12/8/2018, βρέθηκε στην παραλία Διγελιωτίκων και ενημέρωσε τους λουόμενους για τις βλαβερές συνέπειες ρίψης των αποτσίγαρων στις ακτές, με τη δράση της: "ΟΙ ΑΚΤΕΣ ΠΟΥ ΧΡΕΙΑΖΟΜΑΣΤΕ". Ξεκινήσαμε στις 11 το πρωί από το σημείο που βρίσκονται οι σημαίες στα Διγελιώτικα και κινηθήκαμε κατά μήκος όλης της παραλίας. Ενημερώσαμε τους λουόμενους και τοποθετήσαμε ενημερωτικά έντυπα, σε κάθε ομπρέλα κατά μήκος της παραλίας Διγελιωτίκων, που αναφέρουν τις βλαβερές συνέπειες της ρίψης των αποτσίγαρων στις παραλίες στο περιβάλλον, και κατ'επέκταση στην ανθρώπινη υγεία. Στο πλευρό μας βρέθηκαν η Κοινότητα Διγελιωτίκων, ο Πολιτιστικός Σύλλογος Διγελιωτίκων, όλοι οι επιχειρηματίες της παραλίας, καθώς και οι υπέροχες εθελόντριές μας Μαρία και Φλώρα.

MELLIFERA on Sunday, August 12, 2018, was found at the beach of Dipeliotika and informed the bathers about the harmful effects of throwing off cigarette butts on the shores, with her action: "THE COASTS WE NEED". We started at 11am from the point where the Blue Flag is located at Dipeliotika and we moved along the entire beach. We informed the bathers and placed brochures on each umbrella alongside the Diggeliotika Beach, which reported the harmful effects of throwing off cigarette butts on the beaches into the environment, and hence human health. At our side were the Dipeliotika Community, the Dimeliotika Cultural Association, all the businessmen on the beach, as well as our wonderful volunteers Maria and Flora.

THE COASTS WE NEED
Almost 3,500 tons of cigarette smokers are thrown on Greek beaches annually, causing an apparent ecological disaster and at the same time threatening public health.
According to the data presented, cigarette butts are the most common waste on Greek coasts, accounting for 38.3% of those collected.
The cigarette smoke is a dangerous pollutant as its main part, the filter, contains residues of carcinogenic substances such as tar and nicotine, which can cause direct poisoning to young children if the kids find them in the sand and put them in their mouths. Also, cigarettes contaminate beaches and aquifers as well as marine animals and are responsible for the release of toxic dioxins, which poison the entire food chain and consequently the human organism.
LAW: 1650/86 For the protection of the environment (Government Gazette 160 / Α / 16-10-86) To protect the coasts of the seas, the banks of the rivers, the lakes, the bottom of these and the islands as natural resources ecosystems and landscape features.

Το Σάββατο 17 Οκτωβρίου η "MELLIFERA" είχε τη χαρά να παρουσιάσει το εκπαιδευτικό περιβαλλοντικό πρόγραμμα "Ταξίδια στη θάλασσα", για μαθητές πρωτοβάθμιας και δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης, παρέα με το "ΣΚΑΣΙΑΡΧΕΙΟ", στη "ΛΟΞΗ ΤΑΞΗ " του Ζάφου Ξαγοράρη στο Άλσος του Πεδίου του Άρεως, στην Αθήνα.

On Saturday 17 October "MELLIFERA" had the pleasure to present the educational program "Travel at sea" for primary and secondary school students, along with "SKASIARHEIO" at the"LOXI TAXI" (trans.: "Oblique Class") sculpture of Zafos Xagoraris at the park "Pedion Areos" (trans.: "Field of Mars").

Συζητήσαμε με μικρούς και μεγάλους για τη σχέση των ανθρώπων με τη θάλασσα από την αρχαιότητα μέχρι και σήμερα, για την Ελλάδα και τη θάλασσα σήμερα, το θαλάσσιο περιβάλλον, τη φροντίδα και τη μόλυνσή του, τις αιτίες ναυαγίων και τη σωστή συμπεριφορά πάνω σε πλωτό σκάφος.

Μάθαμε ναυτικούς κόμπους και φορέσαμε σωσίβια, λύσαμε αινίγματα για τη θάλασσα και είπαμε παροιμίες.Ακούσαμε ήχους της θάλασσας, ονειρευτήκαμε και ζωγραφίσαμε.

We talked to children and adults about the relationship of humans with the sea since ancient times until today, about Greece and the sea today, the sea environment, care and polution, the shipwrecks causes and correct behavior on watercraft .
We learned sailors knots and wore lifejackets, solved riddles about the sea and said proverbs.We heard sounds of the sea, we dreamed and painted.
